Meg Kent, Director

In addition to her almost twenty years of experience teaching professional writing skills at the college level, most recently at Northeastern University in Boston, Meg Kent holds an undergraduate degree from New York University and graduate degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Her highly trained staff includes educators, editors, and professional writers as well as video and computer specialists, all of whom work together to tailor each program to the specific needs of the client. With a broad background in business as well as in university teaching, Ms. Kent has served as a consultant for the insurance industry, real estate firms, medical and pharmaceutical facilities throughout the country over the past fifteen years, with clients ranging from Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Pfizer, and Guardian Life to Empire Medicare Services, Grenadier Realty, and HUD. The author of three widely acclaimed programs, The Grammar Sleuth™, Customer Communications/2000, and TeleTraining/2000, all of which have been delivered nationwide, Meg Kent is a member of ASTD and the National Society for Performance and Instruction and a frequent guest speaker for both business and nonprofit organizations throughout New England.

Peter Bubriski, Associate Director

A graduate of Yale University, Peter Bubriski has earned a national reputation as an executive trainer and coach, focusing on presentation skills for upper management and marketing personnel along with telephone and customer service techniques for the nation's call centers. A skilled actor with extensive stage, film, and television credits in addition to a broad background as a corporate presenter, Mr. Bubriski has brought to MEWS Seminars his extensive expertise as a dynamic speaker and innovative trainer. As an independent consultant, he has provided his services to clients ranging from American Express and Morgan Stanley to Progress Software, and he has frequently served as a guest speaker for a number of business and nonprofit organizations in the New England area.

Marian Maniscalchi, Director of International Training

The international training division of MEWS is headed by Marian Maniscalchi, a skilled linguist, translator, and corporate coach whose extensive medical and business background makes her a valuable asset to our expanding global consulting team. Having developed and implemented training programs for clients ranging from Pfizer International to McDonald's and RAI Television, Ms. Maniscalchi brings to MEWS her vast expertise in providing customized communications training solutions for American companies operating abroad.
