In 1994, MEWS expanded the scope of its services to include an
Executive Coaching Division (ECD) in conjunction with Meg Kent's
associate, Peter Bubriski, a nationally known speaker and presenter.
Today, the ECD focuses its attention on helping executives and
upper management develop more competitive writing and
presentation skills online or in the privacy of their own office setting.
Developed in response to the growing number of requests for more
personalized training at every level of company and corporate
communications, ECD coaching sessions are discreet and supportive
professional collaborations between our clients and our expert writing
coaches. Sessions may take place in person or via e-mail or
videoconferencing and thus offer busy executives an efficient and
cost-effective alternative to conventional workshops and seminars.
Coaching engagements may be long- or short-term, and the
length of the sessions may also vary. In some cases, our clients
prefer a more project-focused approach—for example, when
they need special assistance preparing speeches, reports, contract
bids, PowerPoint presentations, proposals, performance reviews, or other
important projects. ECD coaches are also particularly adept
at helping non-native speakers polish their language skills, in both a
written and an oral format.
The following are some of the personalized services the ECD provides:
- Individual correspondence reviews and edits
- Grammar, style, and usage reviews
- Accent and grammar improvement for non-native speakers
- Development, assembly, and editing of PowerPoint presentations
- Rehearsals and coaching for live meetings or presentations
- Rehearsals and coaching for videoconferencing presentations
Please contact us by telephone or e-mail for further information about any of the services listed above.
